As time goes on, disinformation on the topic of Bulgaria-North Macedonia is gaining momentum. These days, a photo of an alleged police station showing the Bulgarian and the flag of the former Nazi Germany has become popular on social media. Another of the many attempts to harm the process taking place between Skopje and Sofia. The photo appeared in 2016 on social media in Bulgaria, but even then, it was exposed by Bulgarian media, which stated that it was a manipulation. As with them at that time, also in North Macedonia, the photo provoked a large number of reactions from the public, in an attempt to prevent the spread of this manipulation. What is it actually about? It is about shooting a scene from a movie (Shmenti chapels) shot in the Bulgarian city of Ruse, and the building on which the sign and the flags are placed is the College of Mechanical Engineering. To add to the irony, the photo that is being shared has been shortened, i.e. the original photo (attached below this paragraph) on the left can be seen air conditioning, something that is not typical of the period when World War II took place. For the man in the lower left corner talking on a cell phone let’s not mention at all.Over the years, this photo has beeen shared on social networks in our country, at extremely important moments or dates related to the Euro-Atlantic integration of the country. So, the Twitter profile @Apsaana, a profile related to the Boycott movement, on October 11th , 2019, published a shortened version in which the evidence that it is not about the Second World War is not seen. Obviously, a deliberate provocation. The Boycott Movement has been continuously trying to harm the Euro-Atlantic aspirations of North Macedonia since 2018.            A brief investigation of F2N2 showed that manipulative World War II-themed photographs were used as a method of manipulating the public in other countries. A photo with the flag of Ukraine and Nazi Germany was shared in 2017 on social media in Ukraine. In both cases there are photographs taken during the filming of a film and they are used to manipulate the public.
