On March 15, 2020 on the social network Facebook, in the group Think.mk which presents itself as a personal blog, a post with a misinformation about the coronavirus was shared.

A post calling for the sharing of this misinformation in the group that has 141,794 followers, as of the time of writing of this text, has 4,600 shares by individuals. This misinformation has been shared by the groups Never Say Never (Никогаш не вели никогаш) and Path of Life (Патека на животот ), which together have more than 400 shares. The blog Think.mk which stands behind this Facebook page has no credits nor has specified the responsible authority.

The WHO has already listed gargling with saline as one of the myths that are being spread about COVID-19.

The claims made in this post on Think.mk are not supported by scientific facts.

Fact checkers Snopes.com on 14.03.2020 has already caught this misinformation. And colleagues at CriThink on March 16, 2020, were checking the scientific facts that intercept this manipulation.

The Ministry of Health is repeatedly emphasizing that citizens should be informed from official sources. In this regard, they urge the citizens to seek all the information on their website that is available and is constantly updated with all the details related to COVID-19 (coronavirus).
