On May 19, 2020, an article titled “Leonid Savin: Bill Gates, Vaccination and Chipping in the Sign 666“ appeared on the web portal freeglobe.mk, citing a text by an allegedly “eminent Russian political scientist Leonid Savin“ published on the portal geopolitica.ru.

Before we move on to the content of the column in question, we must first point out who the author of that column is. Namely, from his biography that is put on the portal Geopolitica.ru, it can be seen that he is the editor-in-chief of Geopolitica.ru since 2008, the founder and editor-in-chief of the The Eurasian Affairs newspaper (Eurasianaffairs.net), the head of the administration of the International Eurasian Movement. Mr. Savin is also the Director of the Foundation for Monitoring and Forecasting of the Development of Cultural and Territorial Space, as well as a member of the Military-Scientific Society of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. He is the author of a number of books in the field of: geopolitics, conflicts, international relations and political philosophy.

Deutsche Welle journalist Mikhail Bushuev said in a column that Mr Leonid Savin was “a political anonymous in Russia“and that he’s “not known in Russia“. “His interests are focused on the Balkans.” “He belongs to the circle of political scientists around Dugin.“ However, from the abovementioned, it becomes clear who Leonid Savin is, what his ideological background is and whose interests he propagates and protects.

Mr. Leonid Savin’s article begins with the conclusion that many conspiracy theories are present on the Internet today, but that there are also documented cases, which are referred to as conspiracy theories. In that context, the existence of the Bilderberg Club, the CIA project “MK-Ultra” and the financial activities of George Soros across several countries are mentioned. Assigning that context, Savin then moves on to an analysis of a recently approved WO/2020/060606 patent filed by Microsoft and granted international status. The title of the patent is “Cryptocurrency system that uses data from the activity of the body“. Quoting the abstract of the said patent, Mr Savin then claimed that it was a matter of chipping people in order to monitor the daily activity of their bodies in exchange for cryptocurrencies. Specifically, it states the following:

“The activity of the human body associated with the task given to the user can be used in the process of digging into the cryptocurrency system. The server can assign a task to a user device that is communicatively connected to the server. The sensor, communicatively connected or housed in the user’s device, can measure the user’s physical activity. Physical activity data can be generated based on the user’s physical activity. The cryptocurrency system, communicatively connected to the user’s device, can confirm that the physical activity data meets the requirements of the cryptocurrency system (one or more) and provide a cryptocurrency to the user whose physical activity is verified.“

Reading the abstract in its entirety, we can determine the whereabouts of Mr. Savin’s erroneous speculative claim, which equates the words “user device“ with a chip. It is well known that the activity of the human body can be measured with multiple devices, such as smartwatches that are widely used today. With that in mind, Mr. Savin’s claim regardingchipping cannot be considered credible, hence, it can only be reduced to a misinformation. Furthermore, it is interesting to note that Mr. Savin effectively reads the WO/2020/060606 patent number as 666 and associates it with the “devil’snumber“ from the Bible. The identification of a six-digit with a three-digit number, while deleting three digits, speaks of a tendentious interpretation of facts.

On the other hand, microchipping on a volunteer basis really exists in the world, and that’s indisputable. Examples include Germany and Sweden, as well as the USA. However, it is necessary to clearly emphasize that this is something that people do on a voluntary basis, i.e. there is no legal obligation in any of these countries that would make microchipping mandatory.

Further in the text, Mr. Savin attacks Mr. Bill Gates over his interests in pharmaceutical companies, vaccinations, and funding from the World Health Organization (WHO). Mr. Savin points to a business connection between several organizations, including Microsoft and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, but nothing specific has been said about their activities. However, the focus is on Gavi, TheVaccine Alliance (Gavi), founded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

Gavi’s website says that “as part of its mission to save lives, reduce poverty and protect the world from the threat of epidemics, Gavi has helped vaccinate more than 760 million children in the world’s poorest countries, preventing more than 13 million deaths. “Gavi“ is a public-private partnership that has many partners, including the following founding partners: WHO, UNICEF, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the World Bank, which speaks a lot about the organization’s seriousness and credibility. In addition, Gavi collaborates with NGOs, governments of developing countries, the pharmaceutical industry of developing countries, the governments of industrialized countries, the pharmaceutical industries of industrialized countries, and research and technical universities. All of these partnerships point to Gavi’s seriousness and credibility, with the organization receiving a 1.65 billion pounds donation from the United Kingdom in 2020 and a 600 million dollars donation from the Government of Canada. These funds are intended to support “Gavi“ in its efforts to vaccinate its population in the world’s poorest countries and in its efforts to find a vaccine against COVID-19. Given that, Savin’s views on any coincidence of the cryptocurrency system with vaccines are unfounded. In the absence of evidence of such a thing, Mr. Savin’s attempts can only be treated as an attempt to manipulate and spread a conspiracy theory.

At the very end of the article, it speaks of a link between the Rockefeller Foundation, Microsoft, the pharmaceutical lobby and the World Bank, with these organizations accused of trying to behave like a supranational government by constantly claiming that national governments cannot cope on their own during larger-scale crises, such as the coronavirus epidemic, which has shown us all the need for greater global coordination. While, on the other hand, Mr. Savin claims that China has coped perfectly with the coronavirus epidemic, but the West does not want to admit it and is now blaming China for its role in creating the coronavirus. The West has also been accused of manipulating statistical data. However, looking at the numbers of deaths and infections, as well as the damage to the overall global economy, one gets the impression that “manipulation of statistics“ is an unskillfully conceived conspiracy theory.

Given that Mr. Savin has failed to substantiate all of these claims with concrete evidence of specific events, all of this should be attributed to the ‘standard’ ideological propaganda of Russia and the East aimed at portraying the Western world as the same or at least “similar” to them.

It is everyone’s responsibility to interpret all the information with a cool head and rational thinking and to act in accordance with the decisions of their government, in order to overcome as soon and as painlessly as possible this epidemic which causes great chaos around the world.
