The portal Magazin published a text referring to the Serbian portal Kurir.rs, which says that billionaire Bill Gates is “the brain behind the biggest crisis in the world” with the coronavirus.
Although the portal does not have a subjective opinion or comment on this topic, to deny or support this thesis, the text was published quite unprocessed, leaving room for interpretation solely against Bill Gates. And also there is no clear limit where the portal refers to Kurir.rs and where is the interpretation.
Especially if you only read the title, you come to the conclusion that the philanthropist is really to blame for the spread of the virus, although there is no truth in this theory.
The news for Bill Gates is not the only conspiracy theory that this portal has transmitted from the Serbian portal Kurir.rs, known for its propaganda and false news.
There are several articles like this that the Coronavirus can only be destroyed by another virus, that Donald Trump is angry with the Albanians in Kosovo, that Kim Jong-un does not appear in public for fear of the coronavirus, that the epidemic in Serbia is coming to an end, and that Chinese scientists predict that the Coronavirus will not pass but will only fade away from time to time.
These are just some of the texts that will serve as an example that the portal Magazin.mk constantly transmits news from tabloid profiles that serve to spread panic, dissatisfaction, and fear among the population. That’s why they need to be careful with news that appears “shocking from the title.”
