The manipulation of the public by the portal Infomax continues

The portal Infomax continues to manipulate the public, this time about the vaccination, as one of the sources of “the acquisition” of diseases in children, under the title that vaccines are not safe and that the European Court claims that vaccines cause diseases!

First of all, the title itself is tendentious and represents an ordinary lie because it is not relevant to the text of the EU Commission for vaccination which claims that: „Vaccination is the main tool for primary prevention of the disease and one of the most cost-effective public health measures available. Immunization through vaccination is the best defense that we have as prevention against the serious and sometimes deadly infectious diseases. Thanks to widespread vaccination, measles have been eradicated, Europe has become free from polio (poliomyelitis), and many other diseases have been almost eliminated.”

Further in the article it is stated that: Today, more than 100 million children are vaccinated annually from diseases such as diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, tuberculosis, polio, edema, and hepatitis B. Vaccination prevents about 2.5 million deaths worldwide every year and reduces the cost of treating specific diseases, including antimicrobial treatments (prescribed for viral infections). Despite its brilliant record, several EU and neighboring countries are currently facing unseen disease outbreaks due to insufficient vaccination coverage and which can be prevented by receiving a vaccine. Unequal access to vaccines and the reduction of public confidence in vaccination are a cause of concern and a major challenge for public health experts.

How Infomax manipulates the public?

By quoting real cases in France, where a patient a year after receiving a hepatitis B vaccine, has acquired a disease called Multiple Sclerosis, deliberately deceives the public that even the highest justice institutions in the EU, such as the European Court of Justice, have brought a decision for warning against vaccination, which is not true in this case. The decision itself is debatable because it is not based on scientific research and is not supported by the current scientific knowledge, and the most serious disinformation is that the refusal of this decision by the scientific community is unrevealed.

This type of propaganda, which sows distrust towards the health system around the world, manifests itself in other titles that Infomax publishes, such as the story that the healthiest children grow in Japan, despite the fact that most of them are not vaccinated. Because according to recent statistics which the Universal Declaration of Human Rights has implemented in the End of Childhood Report 2018, Singapore is listed as the world’s first country with the safest and healthiest young population as a result of widespread vaccination. We come to the conclusion that Infomax deliberately spreads disinformation and news that are not supported by facts, in order to disrupt confidence in the institutions.

This is just one example that the F2N2 team is providing in order to expose these sources of disinformation, while at the same time hoping that the media will begin to apply a more professional way of providing information and ethics. As for the readers, we propose that not every news should be taken for granted, but rather to investigate well before making any conclusions.

On the following link you can read the official position of the European Commission on vaccination and their confidence in the adoption of that method of prevention of various diseases.
