POMPEO ON 5G: The US will continue to do its best to keep their “critical data and networks safe from the Chinese Communist Party.

Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, in a press conference stressed that the United States government is “well underway in implementing the provisions of the 2019 NATIONAL DEFENSE AUTHORIZATION ACT (NDAA)” on the 5G Clean Path. In this regard, he stressed that “mobile data traffic entering American diplomatic systems will be subject to new, stringent requirements if it has transited Huawei equipment.” The main objective is that “untrusted IT vendors will have no access to U.S State Department systems.” The United States will continue to do its best to keep their “critical data and networks safe from the Chinese Communist Party.”
