Original title: (Video) Corona is a result of mafia fraud, according to a German doctor
On June 3, the portal Reporter.mk published an article entitled (Video) Corona is a result of mafia fraud, claims a German doctor, in which the Serbian portal Kurir.rs is stated as a source.
The article says that according to a group of German doctors, coronavirus is the result of mafia fraud. They set up an association to tell the world the truth about the dangerous virus.
At the press conference, Dr. Heiko Schoning, one of the founders of the association, said that the corona is just a type of flu that occurs at a certain time each year, and the strict measures that have been introduced, allegedly have nothing to do with the virus but only caused panic. According to him, the corona panic is a simple deception, mafia trick and crime.
The text is a transmission of views and opinions of certain persons, in this case, of a German doctor. Those views and opinions are presented as claims for which no evidence is presented.
In addition to the article there’s a video of the conference, but it is in German, without translation into Macedonian. As such, it was taken by the Serbian portal, which also left it without translation, but as an alleged evidence. Thus, the larger readership is not able to be convinced of what is said at the conference and what is written in the text. It is just an attempt to manipulate the public and is by no means evidence.
The Vojvodina Analytical Research Center, Voice.org.rs, researched who the doctor was and what exactly he said in the video from the press conference, so in the fact-checking category they published an article entitled “Izgubljeni u prevodu ili kako antivakseri u Srbiji promovišu nemačke „kolege“ (in English: “lost in translation, or how anti-vaxxers in Serbia promote German “colleagues”). In their research story, readers can read much more about this doctor and his activities. We will focus only on the part of the video from the conference, that is translated into Serbian. From the translation it is obvious that it is precisely this part that is the subject of the articles in kurir.rs and reporter.mk.
What should be kept in mind is that this is a marginalized doctor in Germany who is a well-known anti-vaccination activist, and during this pandemic he appears as an organizer of protests and a spokesperson against the allegedly strict measures taken by almost all countries in the fight against coronavirus.
His claims that the corona is just a common flu and the corona panic is a mafia trick and crime are false and we must not be misled.
The fact is that if countries did not take radical measures, the death toll from coronavirus would be much higher, not only in Germany but also around the world.
So the biggest replacement for the theses made by such “experts” and those who oppose vaccination in general, is the comparison of numbers in the case of quarantine and various bans that occur in the specific situation of a global pandemic with numbers that occur when there are no prohibitions or preventive measures.
According to a recent study published in the journal Nature.com, quarantine and strict measures taken in European countries have saved 3.1 million deaths in Europe.
Germany, as a country, has registered nearly 190,000 cases of COVID-19, but if you look at the number of deaths, which is close to 9,000, it can be said that it handles the COVID-19 pandemic very well.
In this time of pandemic, when all countries are struggling with their institutions in every possible way to cope as best as they can, the media is flooded with “experts” and doctors with their own theories, claims, views and opinions. The F2N2 team has already written about a similar case, also about a German doctor named Klaus Knelein.
And finally, it is really pointless to argue about whether the coronavirus exists or not, and whether it is far more dangerous than the seasonal flu, as evidenced by the extent, prevalence and mortality of this virus.
Such statements of unsubstantiated allegations only mislead the public, inciting discontent and mistrust in the system’s institutions regarding the measures, which could result in disrespecting them. And at this point, adhering to the measures is the greatest contribution of any individual in the fight against coronavirus.
