The disinformation is that the plan for Great Albania is being intensified, as well as the part of the headline “Here is the background for the realization of the idea for “Great Albania””.
The statement made by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of North Macedonia, Nikola Dimitrov, is that the “exchange of territories and ethnical borders are concepts that belong to the history…. in the united Europe the borders are essentially invisible”, referring to the possible exchange of territories between Kosovo and Serbia, is spinned and misused by the portal. In a form of a question to the readers, there is an attempt to imply that Minister Dimitrov supports the plan of Albania of opening the borders and by that the plan for Great Albania, supporting it with the statement of the Albanian Prime-minister Edi Rama that he plans to open the borders with Macedonia.

The statement of Dimitrov is in the spirit of united Europe promoting the values of the European Union. One of these values is that all the countries are united and there are no borders between them – Schengen zone. Speaking of the Schengen zone there are a number of countries – EU members that are not part of it (still have borders), among which are Croatia, Bulgaria, Romania and others. There are some countries which are associate members of the Schengen zone and are not EU members.
This means that the no border system comes in more than one step, establishing rules and mechanisms, mutual, as well as within each country. Also the countries should provide joined strategies for the external borders control and surveillance, strategies for countering terrorism and human trafficking and most importantly to implement those.
The European Union offers huge opportunities but comes with serious obligations, which is precisely the essence of values, and all the efforts in this direction from the countries in the region should be welcomed and supported.
