Within the Fakespotting project which is implemented by the South East European University in cooperation with Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna [Italy] (Coordinator), Universidad Loyola Andalucía [Spain], GLOBSEC [Slovakia], INCOMA – International Consulting and Mobility Agency [Spain], Novosadska Novinarska Skola [Serbia], Univerzita Mateja Bela v Banskej Bystrici [Slovakia] како и Universiteti i Tiranës [Albania], on 24 April, 2023 the SEEU hosted an event at its campus in Tetovo. At one of the sessions titled "Building resilience and well informed society" FN Program Manager Rosana Aleksoska had a presentation. Among the other things Ms. Aleksoska spoke about the existence of Russian malign influence in North Macedonia as well as on the effects it has on the society.

In order to effectively combat and manage the problem with disinformation it is a necessity to understand the disinformation narratives in order to see the big picture.
