Conspiracy theories about the origin of the virus do not contribute to better control and dealing with the pandemic. In fact, they underestimate the efforts of scientists, health professionals, and officials to take all necessary steps to combat the virus. What we all need to do is to contribute individually by respecting measures and contribute to more effective dealing with the crisis. Unfortunately, such articles do not help in this process, but on the contrary, they cause distrust in the system and motivate the citizens not to respect the measures and thus to stay in their zone of comfort.

There is a fan page on the social network Facebook called Macedonia and Russia † Orthodox Union with about 10 thousand followers. The very name of the site shows that its orientation is towards the Russian Union of all Orthodox countries, and from its posts and shares, the goal is obvious, to demonize the Western world, from geniuses, intellectuals to organizations, that strive every day to find ways to improve the lives of people in both the Western world and other people around the world. This is not due to our perspective on how we view and interpret things, but is based on facts that point to the constant efforts of that Western world to improve people's lives. Starting from medicine with constant research into finding vaccines for certain diseases that threaten our lives, and continuing to the industry that makes our lives easier, the technology that helps us to easily perform certain daily tasks and apply it in many areas, as well as many other achievements from that western world.A post on this FB page shared an article from the portal kolozeg.info, which writes about one of the most influential people in the world when it comes to ingenuity, advances in technology, or more precisely, about the philanthropist Bill Gates, founder of Microsoft and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. The headline reads that the Gates have been stockpiling food since the emergence of the new COVID-19 pandemic, and now they will focus only on our violent vaccination against the same pandemic.First of all, we give you an explanation from the EU Vaccination Commission where it is said that: “Vaccination is the main tool for primary disease prevention and one of the most economical public health measures available. Immunization through vaccination is the best defense against the prevention of serious and sometimes fatal infectious diseases. Thanks to widespread vaccination, measles has been eradicated, Europe has become free of polio (poliomyelitis) and many other diseases have been almost eliminated.Today, more than 100 million children are vaccinated each year against diseases such as diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, tuberculosis, polio, measles, and hepatitis B. Vaccination prevents about 2.5 million deaths worldwide each year and reduces the cost of treating specific diseases, including antimicrobial treatments (prescribed for viral infections). Despite its brilliant record, several EU and neighboring countries are currently facing unprecedented epidemics of diseases due to insufficient levels of vaccine coverage and can be prevented by vaccination. Unequal access to vaccines and declining public confidence in vaccination are a cause for concern and a major challenge for public health experts.“  The text writes about how Robert F. Kennedy (grandson of President John F. Kennedy) in a recent interview revealed the alleged link between the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, led by Dr. Anthony Fauci, the current Trump adviser who apparently created the fake coronavirus hysteria, and the efforts to force vaccination backed by Bill Gates.Melinda Gates, co-founder of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation recently confirmed to BBC Radio Live that they started storing food in the basement a few years ago in case of a pandemic. It didn't take much research to prove that this was not the case.Namely, part of Melinda Gates interview was published in the continuation of the text on the portal Kolozeg.info, and even with a simple translation with the help of Google Translate, it can be concluded that what the author of the text writes does not match Melinda Gates' answer to a question from BBC Radio 5 live reporter Emma Barnett. In the interview, Melinda answers the question of whether they have made any preparations and what those preparations look like for a married couple like them, given the occurrence of panic shopping among the people. She begins the conversation by telling how she and her family had talked a few years ago about what if there were no more clean drinking water, what if there was not enough food, where would they go, and how would they deal with the whole situation as a family. She goes on saying that absolutely, they as a family had prepared and stored food in the basement if necessary, and now we are all in the same situation. This is a disease that has affected us all and we are all together in this situation of the pandemic. As a family, they understand their privilege and are grateful that they are not struggling to put a meal on the table like so many others around the world are.The interview took place on April 16 this year. By misrepresenting and misleading the public, the media is trying to impose concerns and mistrust on the world's biggest philanthropists such as Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, calling them idiots and global fascists. Conspiracy theories about the origin of the virus do not contribute to better control and dealing with the pandemic. In fact, they underestimate the efforts of scientists, health professionals, and officials to take all necessary steps to combat the virus. This news published by the portal Kolozeg.info and the same interpreted and shared by the FB page Macedonia and Russia † Orthodox Union is another fake news that is used to manipulate the public. No need to worry and panic. What we all need to do is to contribute individually by respecting measures and contribute to more effective dealing with the crisis. Unfortunately, such articles do not help in this process, but on the contrary, they cause distrust in the system and motivate the citizens not to respect the measures and thus to stay in their zone of comfort.
