On 14 April a fake news appeared that claimed that the Minister of Justice, Renata Deskoska, misused state resources, i.e. used official vehicle at the SDSM rally in Skopje. Along with being shared on some portals, the news was also used by the oppositional VMRO-DPMNE. Calling upon the speculation, the party requested a resignation from the minister.

The news about the misuse of state resources is a fake news. “The news” is used for party manipulation during the election campaign.
The disinformation was denied on the very same day with an official press-release by the ministry. In the denial it is stated that the official vehicles of the Government are Volkswagen Passat, while the vehicle in which the Minister enters is a private one.
F2N2 checked the registration plates in the official register of official vehicles which has been published on the web-page of the State Commission for Prevention of Corruption.
The result from the check is that a vehicle with those registration plates does not exist in this database.
