On 26.08.2019 at 13:12 the portal “Republika” published a disinformation, which was shared by several other portals during the day.
According to the propaganda-makers scenario, Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic was welcomed on the plateau in front of the Government today without the flag of her country.

The published text is a complete manipulation. The media published a photo showing only the Macedonian flag, in order to support its speculation.
This is a disinformation that deliberately manipulates the public, contrary to the Code of Journalists. The truth is that the Serbian Prime Minister was welcomed in accordance with the protocol.
Journalists have a responsibility towards the public. The public must not be misled and manipulated. Journalists must adhere to the principles of professional journalistic research in their reporting. They should be held responsible for their actions under the law. False news is not freedom of speech, but its violation.
