The popular fortune-teller Baba Vangja, also known as Balkan Nostradamus, seems to be a favorite subject of writing, even though she has been dead for two decades. So every day you can read texts with her prophecies, about global events, natural disasters, and even the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.

Worrying is the fact that her prophecies are always associated with the prediction of unpleasant events, as well as the fact that such stories are widely accepted by the reading public, which reads and shares them on social networks.

Recently, a text was published on the portals : delcevodenes.mk and sekojden.net with the title “Baba Vangja, not only predicted the epidemic but also told the cure for coronavirus” in which it was alleged that the fortune teller had predicted the spread of the coronavirus. The same text claims that the drug will be found by Russian scientists, emphasizing that the fortune-teller has been right many times before, and it is expected that such a prediction will come true in the future.  So, this news was shared more than five hundred times on the social network Facebook through the page “Moe zdravje”.

A title with a similar content was shared by the Republika.online portal, where Baba Vangja’s predictions for 2020 were also interpreted.
