Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin on 29.04.2020 has extended a ban on foreigners entering Russia until the Covid-19 pandemic is contained. The decree barring foreigners from entering the country, which was introduced in mid-March and set to expire Thursday, was extended until Russia has the virus under control, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said.

 

President Vladimir Putin on  28.04.2020 extended the national “non-working” month through May 11, warning that Russia has yet to see the peak of its coronavirus outbreak. Russia has reported 108 Covid-19 new deaths in the past 24 hours, bringing the total toll to 972. The total number of cases reported by the Russian authorities since the start of the outbreak stands at 99,399.
