Original title: SPO goes in history, this was personally agreed by Mickoski and Zaev
On 9 April a disinformation appeared in the public which in its title claims that SPO will go in history, based on unconfirmed information by party sources. The title suggests that at a meeting between Mickoski and Zaev it was agreed that SPO will cease to function.

In its title, the text spins the news about the results from the meeting between the leaders of the Government and the opposition, stressing that there was an outcome from the meetings, even though this is not true at all.
The text does not correspond to the title, because in it, it is stated that there is some progress regarding some demands from the opposition, but there is still work to be done until the final agreement. In regards to SPO, in the text it is stated that it was concluded that it will not continue to function in its present form, which is actually an old news, having in mind that the Government has already submitted a draft-law which foresees SPO to become part of the Public Prosecution, but with special competences and with its own budget. Here you can read more details, in regards to SPO, as well as about the negotiations between the parties.
From this, the author of the text made a headline which spins both the reality and the text of the article.
The Government reacted quickly with a denial, by which it stopped the spreading of this spin. Through its Twitter profile, it announced that SPO will not go in history and that it is not true that it will cease to function. There is also no agreement for the Public Prosecutor to be proposed by the opposition.
Netpress published the Government’s denial, but in the continuation of the text stressed again that the previous article that SPO will cease to function was based on party sources. This was not a subject to the Government’s denial, nor is it questionable, as it is explained above. It is the title which is questionable and which spins and changes the essence of the article.
