An edited photo was shared on the social networks on April 27, 2020, stating that at a session on April 27, 2020, the Government adopted an Decree for extension of the school year 2019/2020 on the territory of the Republic of North Macedonia.
The photo that is shared through the social networks is edited, and the given data in the photo is disinformation. The government did not hold a session on April 27, 2020. The session at which it should be decided how the school year will be organized should be held on April 28, 2020.
The Ministry of Education and Science informed that at this session it will propose not to take the state graduation exam this year, while the entrance exam for the students at the faculty will take place according to the achieved success during the schooling. According to Minister Ademi, students are unlikely to return to school until June.
He said: “It is certain that schools will remain closed until the end of the school year due to the risk of the virus. However, the Commission on Infectious Diseases will have to decide on that.”
It remains unclear who made the photomontage with the disinformation and the official notes of the Government, in order to manipulate the public.
