Original title: THERE WAS A BLOCKAGE FROM TURKEY ON OUR NATO MEMBERSHIP AFTER ALL: Turkey asked for extradition of FETO members, Macedonia is consulting with its “Western partners”
Infomax.mk portal published a text in which a segment of the statement of President Pendarovski for Almakos is broadcasted. The headline in the text is confusing and at the same time disinforms the readers with the claim that there is a possibility for blockade by Turkey on our NATO joining.

The text does not at all correspond with the title. Namely, President Pendarovski in his statement to Almakos answered a question from a journalist that was: “What is your position in regards to Turkeys’ demand to return its citizens that are convicted for being members of the FETO Organization?” The answer from the President Pendarovski was: “We have discussed these issues with our partners from Turkey and we are aware that they have demands from 15 persons. We should also be aware that we have overtaken an obligation as part of our European integration to adjust ours with the joint Foreign and security policy if the EU, thus we should have in mind this issue when making final decisions”.
